Do you want to learn Spanish?
Spanish is an international language, official in 21 countries of the world. In the last ten years the demand of Spanish courses has been globally duplicated. It is the mother tongue of more or less 400 million people (third language in the world) and it is in expansion. There are also about 100 million who speak it as their second language. In spite of being spoken in so distant areas, certain uniformity in the cultural level of the language still exists and this allows the people of one or another side of the Atlantic to be understood each other easily.
More than forty-seven million people study Spanish anywhere in the world at this moment. Spanish is the foreign language more studied in non Hispanic countries of America and Europe. Today it is the official language of the United Nations, the European Union and other international organizations.
Knowing Spanish, you can have a greater number of possibilities in the job market and better expectations of growth for businesses in the international stage. On the other hand, there are many other reasons to learn Spanish, like the great contribution of the Spanish and Hispanic-American culture in Architecture, Literature and Arts.
Throughout the XXIst century, Spanish will continue growing at a greater rate than most of the other languages in the world, and that is the reason why its influence will be increasing (For example, Spanish is expected to be the first language of 50% of the population in the US within 50 years). The Yearbook of the Cervantes Institute projections foretells that there will be around 550 million Spanish speakers in the year 2050 in the countries where it is only the official language.
